Student Diversity and Inclusion (SDI), the Office of Vice President of Student Affairs (VPSA), and Hispanic Policy Network (HPN) welcome new, transfer and returning Native American and Indigenous Students to Texas State. The goal of this event is to connect Native American and Indigenous students with peers, resources, services, organizations, and opportunity. Food and refreshments are provided.

The Institute presents educational programs on the identity and ancestral legacy of these Native Americans who have millions of descendants still living in Texas and the U.S.  The Institute also strives to maintain their covenant with sacred sites.  The Institute is a member of the Sacred Springs Alliance. Website

An organization made up of Chickasaws, their families and friends who meet on a regular basis to learn and maintain their culture through the study and preservation of their family histories and traditions.  Facebook

Four Winds Intertribal SocietyFour Winds Intertribal Society

Their mission is to welcome Native American and Non-Native American men and women to join together in an effort to educate ourselves and the general public in the areas of Native American tribal cultures, history, and arts. Their goal is the preservation of Native American heritage and the promotion of unity between all people. The Four Winds Intertribal Society has members from many Nations and Tribes, including Chickasaw, Comanche, Lakota, Sioux, Apache including: Mescalero, Lipan, and Chiricahua; Cheyenne, Alabama Coushatta, Kickapoo, Kiowa, Shawnee, Seminole, Chocktaw, Navajo, and many more.  Website
